Feet Haven Reflexology Opened their 3rd Outlet!

I realized that I haven’t been posting articles for quite some time, and now is the good time to start with something NEW!

So what’s new is : Feet Haven Reflexology just opened their third outlet in Bukit Timah! And I guess it’s a good news for y’all massage lovers 😀

Interior

Located at Jalan Bingka, Bukit Timah, Feet Haven is perfect place for you to relax your body. This place gave me a “Zen” feeling when I first stepped inside. It’s homely and away from crowd. The staffs are so friendly and nice too. I took the one hour body massage package. Just nice coz’ my body was aching! Ah, really just a perfect timing for a good body massage.

My body massage was done perfectly and I have to say that this is the real body massage guys. The masseur even know that my body was “too tired” and it happened maybe because I sit too much or spend too much time in front of computer. Lol sad but it’s true!

Room for body massage

Room for foot massage

Overall, I would rate the service at 8.5/10. The very good thing about the massage is that even you will feel some pressure on your body, you will feel much more better on the next day. This is called “Deep Tissue Massage”, not just doing massage for fun and relax, but it’s also one kind of therapy. Suitable for you who have been busy with work seriously.

Feet Haven, which just received an award from The Spa Awards 2017 for the outstanding treatment/ service for 60 mins combi foot and body massage, offers a whole range of services to the customers; from foot reflexology, shoulder massage, and also body massage. You can even consider to take their combo or savers package as well.

For example, you just have to pay $399 and you get to enjoy services up to $450 in value!
You’re actually paying lesser yet enjoying more! That is so great, isn’t it?

If you are a massage lover, this package is very suitable for you. You can have massage once in every two weeks – one month time. Good relax your body, mind, and soul.

Now you know that you don’t need to travel back and forth to JB just to get a nice massage right? You can put this place in your list too!

From Batam to Singapore

Singapore has been one of the most favorite travel destination for a lot of Indonesians. One is because it’s quite close to some cities in Indonesia; second is because of the easy access of public transportation like SMRT.

Sometimes, you can get budget flights tickets to and from Singapore by Jetstar or AirAsia. You can travel for less than Rp.1.000.000 or S$100 (return way). For my city Medan, we usually take Jetstar (for budget flight) or SilkAir. But sometimes in a high season you cannot get cheap price. Jetstar sometimes can be very expensive too. Lidat how?

Don’t worry. There is another alternative to travel to Singapore. How? Take ferry from Batam.

Batam is a small island in Indonesia’s Riau archipelago in the South China Sea. It’s a free trade zone with multiple busy ports, known for its beaches, raucous nightlife and malls offering duty-free shopping. Upscale resorts in the shoreline areas of Nongsa and Waterfront City offer golf courses and water sports including windsurfing, parasailing and jet skiing. (Source : google)

IMG_20160313_132716So, you can take flight from your city to Batam first then you take ferry to Singapore. Of course, there are + and – by taking ferry.

+
> sometimes you can get cheaper price. If you travel from Medan, flight + ferry + cab fee can be less than Rp.1.500.000 (S$150). Flight is around Rp.700.000 (S$70), ferry is Rp.300.000 (S$30) and cab is Rp.200.000.(S$20). Ferry is open date ticket and all price is in return way.
> Batam is popular of their seafood, resorts, massage, and shopping. You can consider staying one night at Batam too!
> You can enjoy the sea and see a nice view from the deck. Pretty cool isit?

> it takes more time, especially on weekends. For some times, you can q for so long at the immigration. Worst, it can take up to 2 hrs!
> more tiring of course.

So, you wanna consider taking ferry for a new experience? 😊

Experience Night Life in Clarke Quay

Are you one of the person who:

  • Loves night life?
  • Looks for a place to enjoy night view?
  • Loves crowd?
  • Have a “young blood”?

1457802781585If your answers are YES, then Clarke Quay is your best option. Located in the heart of Singapore, you can reach this place easily by MRT – stop at Clarke Quay station (North East Line) and you’ll be able to see the view of Singapore River from there!

I see a lot of people come here with friends and couples. A lot of bars are around. You can enjoy live music, watch soccer, eat, drink, sing at KTV – it’s about having an awesome fun and superb parties here!

But how if you are not a night life lover like me? Well.. You can come here just to see the view of Singapore River, walk around to see the crowd, or maybe ride the G-MAX Bungee Ride (if you got the adrenaline). Conclusion: It will be no much fun if you don’t like night life, but if you never come here maybe try once also ok lah 😀

This place is very crowded especially on weekends and public holidays. Party birds should come here. But, let me warn you, things here is quite pricy. For alternative, maybe you can walk to Robertson Quay for drinks but quite far walking distance if you go from Clarke Quay.

So, is Clarke Quay your #1 option to spend your weekend?

Mustafa Center – Toko Serba Ada

mustafaHeard of Mustafa Center in Singapore? It’s a 24 hours shopping center located on Syed Alwi Road in Little India. I call it “Toko Serba Ada” in Bahasa Indonesia, means everything you want to find is there! Ya not exactly everything lah but I can say that everything that’s inside a supermarket is also here! Plus, they also sell books, DVDs, watches, electronic goods, footwear, clothing, and also jewelry and household appliances. Around the area you can also easily find money changers and some places to eat.

It has 6 floors and two buildings. You can find a lot of entry and exit doors. You might need few hours to explore this place if you are really a shopaholic. Not to mention that things here are cheap! (I mean it’s cheap for Singaporeans :p) but I found that some things are also cheaper than Indonesia! I bought Pepero before which cost S$1 only when in Indonesia I need to pay for Rp.15.000 (S$1.5) haha.. So yeah, this is one of the place that you need to go when you come to Singapore. I suggest you to come early in the morning or maybe around late night cos’ maybe it won’t be so crowded. Maybe.

So, there are some points on why I like this place:

  1. Perfect place to buy whatever things you want, especially your daily needs.
  2. Open 24 hours.
  3. Things are cheap.

Why I don’t like this place:

  1. Sometimes it’s too crowded that you don’t even have enough space to walk.
  2. I don’t suggest you to buy mobile phones here. Maybe they sell for low price but we cannot guarantee. I have read some bad reviews about buying mobile phones here so I don’t recommend.

How go get here : Stop at Farrer Park MRT station (North East Line) and follow the signboard to reach Mustafa Center. It’s so easy to find.

Let’s be a Manager at Tsukada Nojo!

Rate : 9/10

OMG I’m so suapakau when I first came here! I thought I was a but late, but, better late than never right? I went to Tsukada Nojo for lunch at first, but the place hadn’t opened yet, so I went back the day after tomorrow for dinner.

I never know this place before and actually a man brought me out here for a lunch dinner date 😆 because I really love soup, like really lovee!!

We went there on Saturday and the place was really crowded. We had to wait for almost two hours, err okay, maybe because it was weekend. The impatient me was so curious about the taste of this famous beauty collagen hotpot.

Well, Tsukada Nojo is a Japanese restaurant specialty in beauty collagen stock. They are known for their Bijin Nabe (Beauty Collagen Hotpot).

bijin

Why is it called Beauty Pot?

Because you know, they said that drinking collagen soup will make you skin smooth and clean, makes you look beautiful, especially for the ladies. I bet lot of girls come here for this 😅

Taste : 9/10

The soup is stewed for about 8 hours until the chicken bones are fully dissolved. The soup looks like pudding, or I think it’s more similar to 豆花 at first, then we just need heat it to wait till it melt fully and turned to collagen soup. Soup is rich and chicken is tender. The combination of fresh seafoods and vegetables with the soup is superb nice. There are quite lots of things that you can put inside the soup; lady’s finger, yellow zucchini, watermelon radish, baby corn, yuzu, deep fried tofu, black fungus, mushrooms, fresh shrimps, deep fried tofu.

Service : 8/10

The serving staffs dressed in Kimono are all very nice and polite to us. They always assist us in cooking too.

After we finished eating, we were each handed a “business card” and asked to write our names on them. The card is given to customers and you are given a stamp with each dinner visit. First-timers will start from “Assistant Manager” level and will be “promoted” to the next management level on subsequent visit. So, don’t forget to bring your card every time you visit here. Plus, we will also be given a free dessert on each visit. How nice is it? 😋

1443937709780Tips : Try not to come on weekends on PH as it will be a very long q.
